More than 30 Paid Summer Internships Available via WWF’s BRIDGE Program

World Wildlife Fund (US) has launched BRIDGE (Building Relationships, Inclusivity, Diversity, Growth, and Excellence), a diversity-focused, paid summer internship program forundergraduate and graduate students! 
 
There are 39 open positions, all available on WWF’s Careers website.

Interns will be provided a set of professional development opportunities, including: 1) development discussions with their manager, 2) up to two online courses through Cornell University’s eCornell program, 3) speed mentoring sessions, 4) opportunity to present their work to intern peers and WWF staff, and 5) session on resume and interviewing best practices.

BRIDGE Program Overview

  • Paid – $17/hour for undergraduate and $21/hour for graduate 
  • Full-time (35 hours/week)
  • 10 weeks (June 5 through August 11): see below and specific jobs for location (hybrid, remote, or flexible)

Eligibility

  • Students actively enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate level (non-doctoral) program who haven’t yet received a degree by the time BRIDGE begins on June 5, 2023.
  • Students who have existing work authorization in the U.S.
  • Students residing in a state where WWF can employ during program (see job postings for specific list of restricted states).
  • Students who do not have substantial work experience in their desired career fields​​​​​​​.

How to Apply

  • Each application requires a resume + cover letter. The cover letter should discuss the candidate’s relevant interests/experience, the candidate’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and what they hope to gain from the experience.
  • Candidates MAY apply to more than one internship position.

When to Apply

  • Job postings will be online until ~March 31, but we highly encourage students to apply by Friday, March 24 as our managers will be interviewing shortly after.
  • WWF will aim to provide a verbal job offer by mid-April 2023 and a finalized, written job offer no later than mid-May 2023.
