As part of Green Jobs Network’s ongoing coverage of the American Climate Corps, below are remarks issued by President Biden on Earth Day 2024 that announced the launch of the first jobs available in the American Climate Corps. These jobs are available on the newly launched American Climate Corps website and applicant portal at ClimateCorps.gov.
The American Climate Corps was originally announced by the Biden Administration in September 2023, and is a new initiative to train 20,000 young people in high-demand skills for jobs in the clean energy economy.
