Net Impact University of Cincinnati (Net Impact UC) recently completed their successful Fall 2025 Green Jobs Initiative. Net Impact UC is playing a leading role on their campus in connecting students to green career resources and employment opportunities and became a Green Jobs Network campus affiliate in 2023.
A key part of Net Impact UC’s Fall 2025 Green Jobs Initiative was working with the UC Business, Engineering, and IT Career Fair to highlight employers offering green jobs that directly contribute to sustainability. They collaborated with companies to identify positions that align with one of LinkedIn’s 13 definitions of a green job. Participating employers received special signage, allowing students to easily identify companies that are part of the initiative. This event represented the 6th successful career fair collaboration by Net Impact UC!

Net Impact UC also organized a speaker panel as part of their Green Jobs Initiative. This panel gave students an opportunity to learn directly about career pathways and opportunities from industry professionals and was followed by a networking mixer. The panelists were:
- JR Stoll – Senior Project Manager, Melink Solar
- Erek Hansen – Environmental Consultant, Trinity Consulting
- Rachel Bickett – Sustainability Project Coordinator, City of Cincinnati
- David MacMannis, PE, DBIA – Director of Personnel, Ulliman Schutte Construction

Green Jobs Network has been proud to provide support to Net Impact UC in recent years including building a green internships board and providing advice to the organization’s leaders as they plan career programs. You can learn more about Net Impact UC and their green jobs activities here.
