
Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, which is top-ranked for Environmental Policy & Management, is currently accepting applications for its online Master of Environmental Sustainability (Online MES).
The Online MES is a fully online, self-paced, asynchronous 36 credit-hour degree that can be completed in as little as two years.
Designed for working professionals, the curriculum emphasizes social, economic, and environmental sustainability, with concentration options in environmental policy and planning or municipal and industrial sustainability. Courses are taught by the same faculty as their in-person Master’s program.
For the next cohort, the application deadline is July 15.
The O’Neill School will be offering a free information session “Grad School, Real Life: Finding Balance in an Online Master’s Program,” that provides practical information for those considering applying to an online graduate program.
This virtual program will be available on the following dates:

- Tuesday, May 12 @ Noon –1 pm ET
