The East Bay Bicycle Coalition is seeking a motivated and energized advocate for a full-time staff position of Outreach Coordinator. This is part of EBBC’s expanding efforts to grow and maximize the effectiveness of our organization.
The Outreach Coordinator will work on building membership and engaging volunteers in the year-round advocacy, outreach, and social activities of our non-profit organization. The Coordinator will engage EBBC members in the many volunteer activities of our organization, such as valet bike parking events, Bike to Work Day, transportation fairs, outreach events and bicycle advisory committees, including training of volunteers for these tasks. The Coordinator will also help grow the EBBC membership, currently at 2000 members, by incorporating membership recruitment into all of the activities of the EBBC and will assist in submitting and obtaining grants in connection with these activities. The Coordinator will work closely with the EBBC Executive Director, the EBBC Chair, board members of the EBBC, and other key volunteers in connection with all responsibilities.
