The successful candidate will become an integral part of our continuing engineering team supporting photovoltaic racking system projects. This is a hands-on position involving the design, prototyping, testing and documenting of existing and new products and applications related to high performance racking system products. S/he will interface with other engineers, sales, marketing, supply chain, and independent testing laboratories for new and existing products.
Essential Functions:
Using AutoCAD and Solidworks, create and/or update conceptual, assembly, fabrication drawings and BOMs.
Responsible for 3D models and FEA/CFD of all designs using Solidworks and ANSYS.
Responsible for engineering documentation (prints, specs, material reports).
Coordinate product testing and certification to UL and TÜV.
Maintain expert knowledge of all materials used as components in PanelClaw’s product lines.
Write, maintain and update technical documents, including training manuals, spec sheets and technical memos.
Manage and lead projects as assigned.
Participate in product gap analysis, development of product engineering processes, training and documentation.
