Motiv is looking for a Lead Power Electronics Engineer. This person would join Motiv's core technical team and be the principle designer of power electronics hardware and gate drive circuitry, as well as low-power circuit design. Responsibilities include designing power converters from a few kW up to hundreds of kW that are key components of our vehicular power control system.
Motiv is an early-stage startup, so we are looking for candidates that are ready and excited to be in an entrepreneurial role where they wear many hats. They should be able to exercise leadership and enthusiastic contribution across a wide range of technical and non-technical activities. Candidate must be very self-motivated and willing to receive a portion of their pay in equity. This position is full time, but may include a beginning trial consulting period of 1-2 months
