In May, Green Jobs Network launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for its climate job board, ClimateChangeJobs.com. The server connects the board to Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, giving job seekers real-time access to the board’s 25,000+ job postings while using Claude.
Today, Green Jobs Network announced that this MCP is available in Anthropic’s Connectors Directory. The Connectors Directory is a catalog of MCP servers that work across all Claude products: claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Mobile, Claude Code, and Cowork.

The ClimateChangeJobs.com MCP enables job seekers to leverage the capabilities of Claude with the grounded, comprehensive job listings provided by Green Jobs Network to uncover opportunities, gain insights, and take action to support their search.
Once installed, you can use conversation to explore these jobs in ways that go beyond traditional keyword search. Here are some example prompts:
- “I’m interested in working on issues relating to food systems. What types of jobs are available?”
- “What climate jobs were posted in the last 2 weeks in New York City or San Francisco?”
- “Show me 5 nonprofit jobs that focus on environmental justice.”
- “I have a marketing background — which climate jobs could use my skills?”
- “Find entry-level climate policy positions and summarize what they have in common.”
What it does
The connector provides three functions:
- Search jobs — by keyword, category, employer, or posting date
- Get job details — the full description for a specific listing
- Get employer information — details about a hiring organization
Installation
Claude users can add this MCP by visiting this Directory page and clicking the button “Sign in to Add” or “Add to Claude“.
This is available for users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop, and Claude Mobile (iOS and Android).

The connector runs read-only. It searches public job listings only and requires no account or personal information.
