Gigascale Capital, a climate-focused investment firm, is currently accepting applications for two paid summer fellowships. Fellows should be MBA students between their first and second year with a demonstrated strong interest in working in climate.
Fellows will be an active member of Gigascale Capital’s investment team, participating in internal and external meetings on a day-to-day basis. Fellow responsibilities will include:
New investments
- Participate in every aspect of due diligence, including reference calls, market analyses, competitive analyses, and technical deep dives
- Attend pitch meetings
- Assist in identifying and sourcing new opportunities
- Participate in internal discussions on investment decisions
Portfolio support
- Work directly with existing portfolio companies on various special projects (e.g., market sizing, pricing analysis, GTM strategy)
Thesis building
- Identify interesting companies and emerging technologies in an area of interest and expertise
- Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant market experts and entrepreneurs
- Summarize findings in a written research report and educate the broader team
This is a full-time in-person (Palo Alto, California) 10 week opportunity from June through August of 2024. Fellows will receive approximately $8K per month.
