The application deadline is January 5, 2025 for the 2025 cohort of The Farmlink Project’s Innovation, Education, and Leadership Development Fellowship (FIELD).
This fellowship supports the next generation of food systems leaders via a nine-month work-study fellowship that blends food system knowledge, entrepreneurial training, and real-world experience.
Farmlink selects a small cohort of outstanding students from diverse backgrounds who are motivated to create change in the food system. No experience in sustainability, food systems, etc is required. They prioritize action-oriented students who are motivated to make the world a better place.
This program is designed for students pursuing an undergraduate degree, however, people who are one year out of college or are pursuing a graduate degree are welcome to apply. This internship is not open to high school students.
The Farmlink Project provides a $6,000 living stipend and covers travel cost to and from immersion destination. If participating in FIELD for 10-15 hours a week would displace time you would spend working a paid job to support yourself or others, they offer a need based stipend. They want everyone regardless of their financial situation to be able to participate. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
