GeekWire, a technology business news website based in Seattle, is currently accepting applications for the Etzioni Internship in Climate Tech Journalism for the Summer of 2024. This is a paid ($20/hr.) full-time internship that will take place from June 10 – August 30.
The intern will have the opportunity to report on climate technology startups, academic research, and funding in the Pacific Northwest’s climate tech hub. The intern will also receive mentoring from GeekWire staff.
This internship will be based in the Seattle area, working from home or office with some in-person meetings and assignments.
Applicants should be pursuing or recently completed a degree in journalism or communications with a focus on news coverage, or demonstrated experience in journalism. The application deadline March 15, 2024.
