
Ceres is currently accepting applications for the 2026 Ryan Martel Fellowship. Ceres is a nonprofit organization working with the most influential capital market leaders to solve the world’s greatest sustainability challenges. This fellowship honors and recognizes Ryan Martel, who devoted his professional life to the pursuit of effective federal climate action and passed away in 2022.
The Ryan Martel Fellowship is designed for a highly-motivated self-starter, who has some prior policy campaign experience but who is in the early stages of their policy career.
This full-time, hybrid (50% remote, 50% in-person for meetings/events) fellowship reports to the Senior Director, Federal Policy. The candidate selected for the role must be located within a commutable distance of Washington D.C. for the duration of the fellowship. Candidates must be flexible to work with employees in all U.S. time zones.
This is a 12-month fellowship with the potential to extend an additional 12 months. The hiring salary is $58,800 and includes a $15,000 housing stipend, a $1,200 commuting stipend, and competitive benefits.
