
Applications are currently being accepted by MobilizeGreen (the implementation partner) for multiple paid fellowships in the 2026 Maintenance and Infrastructure Fellowship Program (MIFP) with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Fellows work in supportive cohorts on projects that sustain wildlife refuges, visitor facilities, and public lands across the country. Participants gain hands-on experience in engineering, maintenance, construction management, data analysis, hydrology, GIS, and program administration. This fellowship program is designed to open pathways to technical and federal careers.

- Business Management
- Engineering / Architecture
- Facility Operations Specialist / Data Support
- Maintenance
Duty Station and Location: Positions for the 2026 Maintenance and Infrastructure Fellowship Program (MIFP) cohort will be located at U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service refuges and offices across the country.
Term: 26 weeks (6 months), Full-Time (40 hours per week), on-site position. The fellowship is eligible for extension up to 3 years (36 months).
Anticipated Start Date: June 2026
