My company is engaged to manage the LA County PACE Financing Program, an innovative model for funding efficiency and renewable energy projects in existing commercial buildings. I am looking to sub-contract with a Project Developer to assist with the following general tasks:
- Generate applications through outreach to commercial property owners, property managers, contractors, to educate them on the program and generate leads
- Interface with banks and other PACE Investors on behalf of property owner applicants
- Support property owners through the entire project development cycle, from project identification, scoping, design, procurement
- Other tasks as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials/qualifications/traits:
- Graduate degree, ideally an MBA or Master’s in Real Estate Finance/Development
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate, ideally in asset management, acquisitions or construction/project management
- Background in renewable energy a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong network of contacts in Los Angeles
- Independent self-starter, committed to protecting the environment while creating economic wealth
