At Google, we’re creating a better web that’s better for the environment. We’re greening our company by using resources as efficiently as possible and supporting renewable power. That means when people use Google products, they’re being better to the environment. Within Google Green, we focus on three main areas: 1) efficiency, including within our data centers and our company operations, 2) renewable energy, including the power we use and the projects we invest in, and 3) our products that help people live a better life while also being good to the environment. We also help support Google.org in the environmental work they do. In Green Marketing, our job is to help people understand and care about what we do to help the environment. By doing that, we hope more people and companies adopt these greener practices. Also, as people connect more powerfully with Google on an emotional level through the good we do, we hope they will love Google more. In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic marketing campaigns and programs that help raise awareness of Google’s leadership in sustainability. Because our company’s green efforts are growing, you will likely have a more fluid responsibility set than some of the more established Google.com products.
