  • The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), invites applications for the position of Chief Greening Officer. Our Chief Greening Officer is a new position that will define a nationwide strategy to ensure that PBS becomes, “the most sustainable real estate organization in the country." This position reports directly to the Commissioner for PBS and will have wide latitude to develop and employ greening strategies for all new construction, and for the existing inventory of 1,500 federal buildings ranging from courthouses to land ports of entry. The successful candidate will need a balance of technical aptitude, leadership skill and strategic thinking, along with a desire to drive large scale change.
