Administrator/Personal Assistant

Help the Executive Director and the staff at the Clean Tech Open:

Admin – events, sponsor and general admin, plus personal assistant to Executive Director and to other members of the Clean Tech Open team, including staff and volunteers. Candidates should ideally be someone with PA experience and need to be able to take phone calls on Executive Director's behalf (relatively few) and handle emails (could be 100+ per day).

Events admin includes coordinating speakers and resources for each event and coordination of event logistics (badges, signage, registration, etc).

Sponsor admin includes coordinating and managing sponsor contracts, ensuring we have logos and other key information required from each sponsor, reminders and communications with in-kind and paying sponsors.

General admin could include liaison with volunteers, admin work on behalf of Chairs, scheduling, and reminders to contestants.

This is a broad, challenging role for someone with excellent admin skills, a 'can do' attitude, and a willingness to roll up sleeves. You can work from home or from our office in Palo Alto – or, most likely, a combination of both.

** Full time (or close to full time). We are a non-profit and our budget is tight. Ideal candidates can offer perhaps 50% paid and 50% pro-bono time per week. We are looking for someone who is proactive, enthused by the opportunity to advance the cause of clean tech, and looking for a long-term role.
