EIRIS, a UK-based organisation with offices in the US and France together with its international research partners provides comprehensive research on around 3,000 companies in Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region. Our parent company is in London, UK, but five years ago we established a small permanent team in Boston MA to conduct research and build and maintain networks with American companies and the SRI community. You will work in the Boston office but closely integrated with EIRIS’ London-based operation. The post includes four weeks’ initial training in London and three additional visits of one week’s duration during the year.

You will analyse companies in several allocated sectors in the USA using surveys, company documents and other sources, assessing them against the full range of EIRIS criteria and inputting this information into the relevant EIRIS research databases. You will be responsible for ensuring the resulting profiles of these companies are accurate, up-to-date, of high quality and professionally presented. The job may involve a small amount of writing-up and presenting the outcome of such research to clients and for possible publication.

The CSR Manager is a subject-matter expert responsible for ensuring that BSC achieves substantive improvements in its ongoing commitment to become a more sustainable and socially responsible company. This position coordinates overall environmental efforts; acts as lead staff on specific green and CSR initiatives; is the project lead for the interdisciplinary companywide green team; staffs the senior-level CSR steering committee; represents BSC externally; and manages relationships with external parties and consultants.
