Boston Green Jobs Forum to Take Place on August 19

A Boston Green Jobs Forum will take place on August 19th in Boston.  This event, part of Boston GreenFest, is organized in conjunction with the Greater Four Corners Action Coalition of Dorchester. This program will include a keynote address by Former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis and a panel session featuring:

  • Greg Watson – Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs
  • Kevin Doyle – Director, Environmental Careers Organization
  • William Johnson – Director, Green America Public Private Partnerships
  • Mela Bush – Community Organizer, Greater Four Corners Action Coalition

This event will take place from 10:30 am - 4:00 pm at the Massachusetts State House, Grand Staircase, Beacon St at Park St, Boston, MA 02108 (directions). This event is free to the public, but pre-registration is required.

Our parent company is in London, UK, but five years ago we established a small permanent team in Boston MA to conduct research and build and maintain networks with American companies and the SRI community. You will work in the Boston office but closely integrated with EIRIS’ London-based operation. The post includes four weeks’ initial training in London and three additional visits of one week’s duration during the year.

You will analyse companies in several allocated sectors in the USA using surveys, company documents and other sources, assessing them against the full range of EIRIS criteria and inputting this information into the relevant EIRIS research databases. You will be responsible for ensuring the resulting profiles of these companies are accurate, up-to-date, of high quality and professionally presented.
